Lydian Collective- London based soul/ jazz/ funk fusion kind of thing. I don’t get on with a lot of their stuff but it’s interesting enough for me to keep looking for more. Undoubtedly great musicians with some interesting ideas and sounds. Can’t beat live session stuff either IMO.

While I’m here I really should also give a shout to The Beta Rays- a Brighton based soul/ funk band I’m working with atm. They have a couple of youtube videos but the sound quality is terrible- a few spotify ‘listens’ would be greatly appreciated though.
Decent stuff, the intro of the second one, reminded me of Miss you by The Rolling stones.
