I’m not too bothered about NPGs. Just give him the ball and let him put it in the back of the net.
I don’t care whether it’s a pen or not. Just score goals, as many as possible.
Especially in those dead rubber games where nothing is coming off.
It’s in those kind of draw games he can make the difference in a way Havertz typically doesn’t

I just hope we seal this deal as soon as possible so he can joing our preseason. And I hope Gabriel doesn’t kill him in training.

What I like most about Gyok is that he acts quickly. Compared to our lot from last few seasons..
He just wants to hit the damn ball, exactly what we need. No need to think for too long.
Sporting vs Celtic in the Algarve today, no Gyokeres in the squad.
I think he’s coming guys.

He didn’t do all that much against us (last year?), but i remember that one run he made by himself with the ball and just smashed a left-footed strike off the post.. shows the kind of power and strength and decisiveness… I’m very excited to see how he does for us. Could be a fun year.

I think talking about the physical qualities he touches upont there, you can be very confident about him carrying that over to the PL.
When you look at Nunez, yeah his finishing didn’t translate, but that won’t be the case with Gyokeres. But he absolutely translated his atheticism to the PL and always stood out in that regard in the PL just as much as anywhere.
Same with Diaz. Needed no time to adapt in terms of physicality, one on one’s etc, just needed some time to improve his end production.
Not to mention Bruno.
Yeah… did say 20? I’m expecting 40 non pen league goals this season.
By Christmas.
