Getting Gyokeres will increase of chance of winning the league and CL.
I think we will get Gyokeres if we want him, no matter what happens in the final.
Gyokeres is 27 in the summer. Realistically, his next club is the place he’ll spend the rest of his peak years and either make it or not as a big player. Players aren’t stupid. They know that finishing 16th means you’ve got massive problems and a long way back to the point of competing for PL or CL. Amorim might be a draw but he also might not be in the job six months from now. What happens if a new man comes in and wants a different kind of striker? In comparison, he goes to Arsenal and he can be pretty sure that he’ll be on a team competing for the biggest titles for the next 2-3 years under the same manager who recruited him.
The only reason you’d pick United over us is money and I don’t think they’re in position to trump us financially anymore.

Mind you, whoever wins is a bit irrelevant because I think both are screwed. However, I do prefer Man Utd winning it over Spurs.
And Gyokeres isn’t enough to change that for me.

Yeah. That was the question. I was sharing my thoughts on it. For me the answer was easy, don’t think he would be worth seeing Spurs lift a European trophy.
Pizza Hut is better anyway.
Dominoes and Pizza Hut are both bland and average as fuck.
If your getting a pizza it has to be from a proper Italian takeaway or restaurant

I see them as distinct meals. Sometimes I’m in the mood for a filthy Dominos, sometimes I want a proper pizza. I do ultimately prefer “proper” pizza though. Too much Dominos does a madness to my insides, but sometimes I just can’t resist and figure it’s worth it

If Gyokeres is the best striker out there available to us, and we all agree that we need a goalscorer to win a major honour, then surely we have to prioritise our own chances of success over not wanting Spurs to win a shitty Europa League. The main motivating factor should be your own club’s success, not the failure of a rival.
I think the question is probably moot anyway though, as I don’t think Gyokeres chooses Man U over us regardless of the result of this final.
