It was on his weaker foot too
He didn’t have so many good chances but his all round game was quite decent still, he’s more than just a goal scorer.

They’ll have fun with that celebration next season when they’re team mates.
I like the way our players troll the players from the other teams, Saka did it with Rashford as well
Yeah I initially laughed at him for that chance then saw on the reply it actually hit the post and was a very good attempt in little space, on his weaker foot.
I’m convinced he would be good here, even if it’s not starting every single game and mixing with Havertz.
The way he turned Saliba while he was on his back at the start of that run was the most impressive part imo.
Also, running away away from Kiwior who is a very fast defender shows how quick he is too. That run was world class. The strike was good too.
Gykores would be a massive upgrade on what we have and us signing him would also stop any other PL club getting him.
It’s true his stats might be inflated playing in an inferior league but if he came here he’d be playing alongside top European players and would be an even more effective striker.
The likes of Toney, Jackson and Wahi have caused more problems to Saliba and Gabriel.
I know he scored against us when we played Newcastle but Isak has always been relatively silent against us too. Even in that match, he did nothing bar that goal and I think more credit should go to Gordon for that pinpoint cross.
So players who for the most part have had more opportunities against us
Right.
That wasn’t the point.
What was the point?
He’s not the first striker that had a rather silent day against our guys and the players that caused them trouble, I don’t think many would want here.
well that is BS as if mancity can do concrete talks when they dont even know if they will be in the EPL at the moment. I think it has also been said that Manu doesn’t interest him (but that might be because of how many strikers they already have)
Initial concrete talks about a potential move. Cool.
They just say anything these days.
so are they going to spend a large chunk of money and sit either him or Stay Humble on the bench?
When was the last time Pep played two strikers together?
Still early but it looks like his free scoring form has halted since Amorim left.
In general it looks like Sporting have struggled quite a bit.
