Cunts on here too.
He just needs one goal or assist in the first seven games to ensure he doesn’t get hit with the 007 meme.
dowman for rcm and saka for rw that better than odegaard for rcm and saka for rw
We aren’t 0-1 down at home to Leeds in the 70th minute yet and santi already wants Dowman instead of Ode.
Easy tiger! I’m high on Dowman and not liking what Odegaard is churning out, but let’s not get carried away!
lets get carried away!
Yeah, fuck it. If we can’t get excited over saving £100m because he’s a Hale-Ender, when can we get excited? Apart from when we win a trophy obviously.
An Edder!
The lad is already developing.
His first goal being a header is hilarious.
Always thought they were overplaying that one.
Sure he’s no Borgetti but he’ll poke one in here and there, scored a few decent one’s in his first year at Sporting.
Ffs just seen the goal, that was a proper header lol.
I think it’s crazy that people disregarded him working on things like his holdup and heading.
He’s a massive lad and very powerful too. Would be a great shame not to utilize that when it’s something the team likes to use and has done so very successfully in the last 2-3 years.
So the one thing we’ve been told he can’t do he does to grab his first goal, maybe we should just shut up and let the guy cook.
.
Non competitive goals don’t count towards proper stats.
Never in any doubt @Flexo ! ![]()
He’ll score 50 league goals this season. 70 if we get Eze.
WELCOME TO ARSENAL! GOALS, SKILLS, TACKLES AND HEADERS ULTRA HD 4K DOUBLE STEREO TRANCE
I watched Gyokeres very closely today. Overall, I have to say I thought he was really impressive. His work rate was excellent, and he made some excellent runs off the ball. Always seemed alert and looking for an opportunity. Strong runs down the channels and was clearly a handful for the opposition defence. He seems very difficult to knock off the ball.
I had joked before with @Darkseid that his first goal for Arsenal would be a header, given the comments I made about him not being strong in the air and with headers, and all I can say is he took it really well. Fully deserved a second too, which was narrowly denied by the post, but I think both the goal and this chance shows he is going to be handful for defences.
I think in terms of areas of development, at the moment I would say the issue is more about how we can successfully integrate him into the way we play as a team. One of the reasons I was so keen on Sesko is that I could see how he could have slotted into our system and style of play. With Gyokeres we need to adapt and we need to feed him the ball.
Some of the positions he took up during set pieces surprised me, and his decision making could have been better on a couple of occasions (keeping the ball rather than passing), but these were pretty minor in the scheme of things.
Overall, I am greatly encouraged that he is a player who can hit the ground running for us. We just need to give him service and create the chances for him. I would give him a strong 8/10 for his performance today.
lets hope he gets his first official goal next weekend at OT, or should I say goals ![]()
