100%. While I’m glad the club took the gamble on Gyokeres it must be said it’s still quite a risky move and represents an enormous step up in standard. The technical quality is an issue for sure.
But bigger than that, we’ve not played either quick free flowing or fast counter attacking football in some time and one of our main playmakers just had a hell of a shit season. Even generally around the first team, the other key problem areas (left wing and lack of creativity) haven’t been fully addressed yet.
It’ll be very interesting to see how Arteta adapts his team for a completely different mould of striker.
Odegaard will finally have a propet target for his through balls. Gyökeres could revolutionise Ode’s game.

Yep. Having him back to his best is absolutely vital for our title hopes.
Going back to Eze again… He would take so much of the burden away from Ode and Saka. We absolutely need to become less reliant on our right side if we want to create consistently, withouth major issues.

There should be absolutely no issues between Øde and the Gyök, their native languages are very closely related, having said that, the Swedes have a reputation in Norway for being stupid, so we’ll see 
Regarding that, I was surprised Gyokeres doesn’t have that usual swedish accent…
Sounded more Norwegian to me, having said that, he’s spent a fair few years abroad so makes all the difference.

Absolutely.
We have had opportunities on plenty of occasions tbh but the players ruin it. Havertz is not a great counter player (too gangly and not fast) but Trossard and martinelli are the real culprits in most moves breaking down.
That’s why the concern remains while we don’t address the LW about how much impact he can have alone on our breaks (read as ‘transitions’ to make it sound twitter friendly).
100% while that left wing and I guess generally the creative problems are not addressed we are still well short on challenging.
