Unai Emery leaves me feeling somewhat bemused
He says the fans threw him out of the club but seems unable to take ownership for his key role in the mess up and decline.
I do think though that without fan unrest he’d probably still be at the club now.
I’m strongly in favour of the fans supporting the team with all their heart usually. However in a prolonged crisis like what we’ve seen recently I think fan unrest is a key catalyst for causing change to occur and I’m very strongly in favour of that and I’m pleased fans played a key role in causing him to get his P45.
Very pleased Emery has gone although I think he was just one part of the problem not all of it. He talks gibberish and failed to own his terrible work in motivating and organising the team even to this day. It was only ever getting worse if he’d remained.

Fair point on Emery but the players are still shit though.
The only difference I see between Arsene’s last two seasons at the club and Emery’s time here is that we at least won a trophy with Arsene and played some entertaining football. Both teams were somewhat trash at defending but at least Arsene didn’t choke in the final against Chelsea(Conte’s Chelsea too).
