Unai Emery

The same analysis that he brought to the job interview no doubt.

I bet most of the squad are about one more video session away from a battery charge.

LUUUUCA HAHAHAHA :arteta:

We were fortunate; however, I thought their pen was VERY generous… refs are just f*ing inconsistent on those types of plays and with VAR it really needs to be sorted out.

Sokratis SHOULD have gifted them a goal if not for Cedric complete meltdown of composure and Willock had to clear from behind our keeper once - they easily could have had 3 or 4 goals… Hassenhutl was completely right on this. Sad thing really is that they had more good chances than we in the last 15-20 minutes and the Laca goal came out of nowhere really.

That’s probably the most considered and polite response Emery is likely to get until he leaves.

There is a reasonable chance that after a full 13 games we find ourselves behind Burnley, Wolves, Leicester City, and Sheffield United…

He has to be gone by the time we play Norwich.

Otherwise, those heading the club don’t have the best interests of the club at hand anymore.

Should’ve been gone before Southampton, This board is going to wait until January.

Should have been gone in the summer… we could have properly replaced then… now we are dithering b/c we will have interim guy.

Next manager is crucial now. Likely it gets handed to Freddie but that’s not improving us much either.
On a very low trajectory this club now. Don’t think this job is going to be as big or as lucrative as people think.
Club is a losing edifice that’s not quite as relevant as some would like to believe.

This club hasn’t been big or relevant since 2004.

Don’t forget 2006 when we won the Champions League

Reality is that this season is now cooked imho… yes, we aren’t mathematically out of it, but we are such a f*ing shambles it will take some time for new manager to address things and we will get an interim manager until summer imho, so I just don’t see us catching up to LC or Chelsea and I can absolutely see Mou finding a way to string together some 3 pointers to vault over us, even if Spurs are as irrelevant as we are.

Utd look a lost cause like us and persist with a bad manager (not as bad as ours imho), so I don’t really see them as much of a threat, but who knows? FFS Burnley, Wolves, SHU are “threats” to us atm.

I have to believe, even if it is all heart, no brain.

I think United will finish ahead of us and go close in the Europa.

Certainly possible, I just think they are almost as dysfunctional as us, so I retain some hope.

I would be very surprised if he got the sack. Think everyone will have to bear with it until the end of the season unless we drop into the relegation zone.

I actually think if we drop more points to either Norwich or Brighton, he will be gone… it is getting horribly toxic and can you imagine the Emirates when City absolutely tear us apart embarrassingly on 12/15?

At least with Freddie in charge, we will have some life and bounce - we will still get killed, but there will be a tinge of renaissance and hope for things to come (next season).
