You know this is funny because I used to play for a Premier League academy and I used to get accused of only being able to play my game when the intensity dropped and I had a stinky attitude towards coaches barking orders at me too lol. It’s extra funny because I know that if the game was played how I wanted it to be played I’d be by far the best player on the pitch.
So when I see the generations of young North African players (Ziyech, Ben Arfa, Taarabt etc etc) all not really being able to match the intensity of what premier league coaches and top European league coaches want it doesn’t surprise me.
Just lazy players off the ball and a horrible ability to take criticism on the chin lol
