Every team is in one table, but is paired with 8 teams to play once, two from each pot randomly selected. 4 Home games, 4 away games.
Top 8 = Round of 16
9-24th = 2 Legged playoff to reach round of 16.
Biggest flaw is one team could get a much harder fixture list than another team but compete in the same table. For example in this matchweek City played Slovan Bratislava an easy 3 pointer they can dispatch with ease while we were playing an effective 6 pointer game against PSG.
