Are we talking proper lumber homes? I know a lot of properties are made of composite wood in the USA.

I’ll only ever bought brick-built homes in the UK. Safe and sturdy is best.

I believe we have a lot of homes built by wood because of earthquake.
At least in California is.

California seems like a bad place to build houses out of wood…maybe just me.

It’s just a hypothetical example but even if it were real it could have an effect on markets.

Speculation is a big part of stocks so any inkling of instability will affect stock prices.

California is a bad place to build homes full-stop.

They’re overdue the next big quake by a few years.

Its also far too warm and shooty

A government charging document addressed to Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent US resident and green card holder who is currently being held in a Louisiana detention center, said that secretary of state Marco Rubio “has reasonable ground to believe that your presence or activities in the United States would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States”.

Freedom of speech is so back baby

Every accusation is an admission.

Their leaders are pedophiles and sex criminals actively crashing the economy, forcing inflation all while persecuting people based on speech or identity. Not to mention tanking relationships with allies.

And we’re only in the second month of this shit show.

just saying, freedom of speech has a limit, right?

You’ll need a lawyer to answer that one concisely particularly in light of this being a ground-breaking case. Wait for the next Legal Eagle video, he’ll probably cover it from a US law point of view.

The general rule is that if someone says “I can say what I want because of freedom of speech” you move away from them because it’s a woefully un-nuanced thing to say and they’ll use it as a shield to say appallingly ill-informed, bigoted things.

I think I’ve mentioned my racist family before. I have to “get used to their opinions” full of racial slurs and GB News mistruths yet it’s insulting that I’m an anti-monarchist.

Yes it does. If you’re going to explain how this man has breached those limits, I’d love to hear it.

no no no… I was just saying, it was not good to use the term “freedom of speech”.
There is no such “absolute” freedom of anything.

Someone should go and amend the first amendment then.
