Douglas Luiz pinging those dangerous long balls was probably the best Villa did to create something. White and Gabriel handled most of them excellently but I would definitely like some of that please.

He had a great shot in the first half and was causing Cedric issues down the left with Young. They could have used Coutinho but he wasn’t available today.

Back up RB: Jhed Spence or Jaden Bogle. Soares is doing well though. Why not have 3?
CB: Saliba back, Tomi as 5th choice, Tarkowski onn a free. Mari and Holding out.
CM: Sanches, Bissouma, Tielemans, Neves, Gravenberch. Any 2 of those. Guendouzi, Torreria, Xhaka, Nenny and AMN out.
Striker: Oshimhen or if we are going the false 9 route, splash huge on Felix or Gnabry.
Holding stays or we riot.
And by riot I mean I’ll be mildly disappointed because i like the guy.

With all the cleanup we’ve done we have set ourselves up extremely well going into the summer, especially if we make Top 4 too.
Trying not to get overly excited but this summer could be massive for the club now and the next 4-5 years.

said it a while back that even though we dont have money bags like other clubs we can offer him something else…also we have been clearing the decks we can afford big wages. I have a strong feeling we will be after him in the summer.
I will bet £100 with you that we 100% do not sign Haaland in the summer.

Haaland isn’t even remotely obtainable. His wage requirement will be insane, coupled with Raiola as his agent and I imagine his family probably scooping their own cut.
We also don’t have the current standing in football to attract someone of his calibre.
