Would not be mad at all with this signing. He’s clearly above the level of Everton. The kind of flair that we lack bar Eze and Jesus.
Barcola would definitely be a floor raiser. He offers what Saka offers on the right: signing him would add the symmetry we need in our team.
Ndiaye is the perfect Trossard replacement
That’s how I see it as well. Not as clinical but similarly good on the ball. Much more dynamic. He wouldn’t be at the top of my list but he’d be a smart signing.
You think so? I think it’s his ceiling that’s more attractive personally.
Think once he irons out his finishing he’d be a tremendous threat.
Just been looking through the top scorers/assisters in the championship/league one.
Reyes Cleary (21 year old English player) playing for 13th place Barnsley has 16 G/A in 19 games playing from LW. Including this one from inside his own half

Worth a punt for someone.
I immediately thought of you when I saw he scored. ![]()
I’ll be honest, I’m slowly starting to lean into him, more than Fernandes(the West Ham one).
Anderson is a good player but he’s gone off the boiL A bit in 2026. Become a bit one dimensional. A lot of Forest fans, despite rating him, would t be upset to see him go for a good fee. Sangare and Gibbs White are less replaceable.
Sounds to me like you’re saying Forest would be willing to sell.
Still surprised that Newcastle let him go
He was quality whenever he played for them
I think the best version of Bruno Guimaraes came with him by his side.
Think he’s the one to sell. Good player but Sangare and MGW are more important, even if not better players.
I’m not gonna lie, you’re really turning me off here.
I like to think I’ve watched him enough to know he’s decent but you obviously watch them more closely than me.
You did warn us about Eze too despite liking him, right?
This is a helpful take on him. I think outsiders tend to get sucked into when someone plays really well but we don’t watch this week to week so we don’t really have a great idea of that individuals form.
The games of him I have seen he’s looked pretty good but not being able to watch him weekly means it’s hard to truly grasp how good he is.
Oh, don’t get me wrong, he’s been good this year. Forest are far more solid when Sangare is in the team. Him coming back has coincided with Forest being more robust and MGW is the match winner. Anderson is good enough to play for a better team than Forest, but if they were to get 80m for him - I think he’s more replaceable than Gibbs White.
I doubt Newcastle fans would say the same about Tonali, who I actually want here.
they had to sell him for FFP they did not want to sell him but their hand was forced as he was a pure profit sale
Newcastle paid £25m for Joe Willock and sold Eliott Anderson for £35m.
