I agree, Martinelli could get back into form, so a LW that can compete with him would be ideal.
But it’s a top quality goal scorer that Arteta has lacked since he’s been here and although Jesus is adequate, he isn’t good or reliable enough and neither is Havertz, who was a bizarre signing.

Where would you play him? Hasn’t he been traditionally more on the RW? I’m not sure he’s got enough discipline for our LCM so maybe LW.
Sure he could rotate with saka and Odegaard as well.
I think he has the versatility to play RW, LW and in place of Odegaard so he could really fill in many roles

Not that I think that’d be a bad outcome at all, I’d actually prefer it, but I think a lot of fans wouldn’t as he’s not an out and out left winger.

I didn’t realise that Jonathan Tah is out of contract in the summer. He has been linked with big moves in the past. As he is on a free, is this the type of smart transfer we should be making in the summer to strengthen our squad depth? A Dedicated backup for Saliba which allows Timber and White to rotate at RB?
And I don’t understand why.
