I don’t mind these podcasters, but the way that one of the guys anoints himself a so-called expert, really makes my teeth itch.

I thought that was a map of antiques shops in Cornwall for a moment.

It’d be overkill.

Looked excellent yesterday. I might be moving into team @Flexo with this one

Wharton is a good player, but if we go to Palace, we had better be coming back with Eze, not Wharton.

You have a strange obsession with signing decidedly average players

Eze’s goal and assists are close to Odegaard over the past 3 seasons despite playing for a much weaker team.

Tell me more about some of these average players that I have called for regularly…

Eze isn’t in the same stratosphere as Odegaard

That is very average isn’t it? You’ve again missed the point. This team is crying out for both more creativity and goals from midfield. Give me a list of players who can come in (realistically) and offer what Eze has been.

Should be easy seeing as Eze is average.

He will cost us 50m. you can get younger better talents for little bit more money.
Eze is in his peak right now and it is not exciting.

Fair enough. Seems a perfect fit to me. In his peak, hungry and ready to contribute straight away. A progressive ball carrier is what we are missing desperately. Think Rice, Eze and Odegaard is a great mix of player. Eventually, Nwaneri takes Eze’s spot.

The brothers got 2 goals and 6 assists this season, he’s 27 years old and you think we should go and spunk north of £50-60m on him?

Purposefully, ignoring the wide story. Jarring. We could probably buy a Mbeumo level player for 50m - I’d rather Eze. Would happily spend 50m on him.

Yet, you want Nico Williams. How is he getting on this year?

Sometimes the bigger picture is important.

Eze is turning 27 in June. Good chance he’s already peaked or is close to his peak.

I think he should be playing for a bigger club but I’m not sure Arsenal should be that.

Easy to settle for a striker with how dry that market is but I feel there’s plenty of options that I’d like to explore before settling for Eze to be honest.

Good player but firm no to Eze

He isn’t what we need

Damn, Eze’s another Rashford… he’s portrayed as if he’s some 21-yr old starlet, but he’s already approaching 30.

Hard no.
