I feel like I have to give ranges.
Xhaka low end: 20m
Xhaka high end: 40m
Lokonga low end: Loan fee
Lokonga high end: 15m
Vieira low end: Loan fee
Vieira high end: 20m
Total low end: 20m
Total high end: 75m
Nobody is paying us 75m for Partey, so if we were guaranteed to get the high end on the other three I’d say we should def do that. But I just can’t see anyone coming in on the high end for Lokonga and Vieira. Maybe I’m being too skeptical.

I agree that we wouldn’t get much for Lokonga, but 15m would be low. I’d rather take 15m for Lokonga or Vieira than lose Partey in our first season back in the Champions League.
I mean we only have a few players who have actually played in the Champions League and even fewer aged thirty or over. Selling Partey would be horrible.

If Arteta lets Partey leave and have a new midfield pairing of Rice-Havertz, he’ll have nothing to fall back on if it doesn’t work. Can’t see Arteta taking that risk and hence I’m pretty certain Partey will stay.
It’s not going to be a pairing of Rice and Havertz imo. It would be just Rice holding that midfield by himself like Toby Maguire holidng the subway in Spiderman 2.

It would be ill advised to have a completely new midfield from the start of next season, unless Rice and Havertz do a Matrix style learning of Arteta’s way of playing and hit the ground running.
Ideally, we keep Partey for another season. If he wants to leave, then we have to bring a replacement.
60 mill + or fuck, rather Partey as part of the squad for the next 2 seasons unless the offer is stupidly good.
