I hope those banners you are referring to are in support of the club…We do not need fans bringing negative banners to the game when it is clear owners are investing in the club and we just finished runners up in the PL…toxicity like that is not needed and will not help anyone

Yeah, somehow we have the one guy who when offered ridiculous money for a very low standard of football decides he wants to play for a league where they have zero money. Yup, I’m happy to go into the season with Partey and Caicedo, Partey and Zubimendi, or Partey and Lavia as our options at the 6. No way do I want to go into the season with just one of those three other lesser proven guys and an aging Jorginho backing up.

Partey, Jorginho and Odegaard in Europe is solid. I still want Rice, but could change my mind on jumping of a high rise if we adequately replace Xhaka with Havertz and one more.

It’s a pretty good strategy for the Saudi League. Tell a player’s agent that the salary will be obscene, the player and agent agitate for a move because the salary is obscene and try to leverage that into a nominal transfer fee.
