Then Ode needs to sort it out because Partey is not the long term player here.
That I absolutely agree with
We’ve seen him play like shit after he plays internationals. He’s also had no issues playing well with Rice in the side instead of Partey.
I think he just had a shitty game. I’m not worried about him at all.
As for Partey, I think it’s clear we need another DM next summer. Cause I think both him & Jorginho will be on their way out.
He’s never around when it matters.
Hope he starts tomorrow, we miss him big time when he’s out.
Aussiegooner your ball knowledge is up there in the forum stakes for sure. You’re spot on that an attacking midfielder like Odegaard needs that continual and reliable service between the lines into the pockets Odegaard drifts into. And while Rice is showing excellent signs in his abilities to progress the play, that will still take time to fully gel. Especially when as a whole the system isn’t as fluid as one year ago yet. Partey IS a big miss for this Arsenal side with or without Rice.
Finally settling down
Not even on the bench?
Hopefully it’s the rumours of him not being able to enter Spain due to the allegations.
Doesn’t make me feel any better about the player.
I’m not interested in how you feel him as a player tbh.
Only really care about the situation that his him available for arsenal as briskly as possible.
I mean it does matter. If we’re drawn against Madrid, for example, do you really wanna be playing away with Jorginho at the six? Or be a Rice yellow card accumulation suspension away from a double pivot of Elneny and Jorginho? It’s a liability.
No I don’t, but ultimately I’d rather him being unavailable for potentially a couple of games per year due to border rules than him continuously picking up soft tissue problems.
When was the last time he played?
You have to go way back before he was married.
