Those people value their own feelings and their ideas to the exclusion of all else. They are soooo fucking delicate and think everything should be exactly as they say it should. Otherwise, they will throw their toys out of the pram and vote for a fucking shit stain like Donald Trump. We all must conform to their optical illusion of morality or be labeled “socialist” or even better “going to hell”.
They blame everything on the younger generation, first it was GenX for being apathetic, the Lost Generation for having no direction, and now it’s millennials for being “snowflakes” and entitled, talk about pot calling the kettle black. They were handed everything on a silver platter by The Greatest Generation and somehow think they “earned it”. Fuck 'em all.

Bernie is delusional. He has no way to pay for anything he proposes. He will never get the taxes passed that he wants. He’ll never get 90% of what he proposes passed in the first place. Add to that, he’ll never win a general election. You think the right wing mobilized against Clinton? Try running a “got dammed commie”.
If Bernie had actually won you guys would’ve faced a civil war lol the change would’ve been too fast. Bernie’s job is done (from his point of view) imo, he has planted a bunch of seeds of thought, that’s all he could do. Not even sure the next guy/gal who takes his place will achieve much more, maybe the next one after that. It’s a slow process. Especially when money talks to such a large degree in elections, if you run in the land of selling-a-concept you better be able to sell yours.
One worry is that his movement wins ground not because the ideology is well thought through and proof but rather because it is the only alternative with some momentum to challenge the establishment. That’s the situation in Sweden, the only opposition with some momentum here are a bunch of scared right wing racist cunts with toilet politics, but the fact that they’re just not stereotypical nonsense-blabbering politicians is enough for people to flock to them anyway and they got like 17% or so and were the third largest party in last years election.

His agenda has to be secured through the proper legislative process that’s how the system of checks and balances works. The two houses were red for the first two years of his presidency yet he sat on his hands with border wall funding until the Dems took the Senate. He used a shutdown to force the dems to fund but in the end he caved.
He failed to fulfil his agenda and his desire to achieve it by using national emergency powers is a deeply disturbing violation of the constitution and democracy especially in furtherance of a highly divisive issue like a border structure on the Southern Border, which isn’t even an objective national emergency
He will not get away with this, what he’s done is essentially galvanised individuals across the US political spectrum against this clear abuse of executive power. The office of president was never meant to be this powerful and that should be a concern for every US citizen.
Trump’s doing the same thing he’s always done. Playing to his base.
