The media agenda after the draw at Chelsea is ridiculous. Caisedo narrative out the window now that he’s shown how braindead he is so they have to brush off the old “valiant team at home gets a point”.
Where was all this adoration for us after going down to ten men yet dominating City at their ground (last season)? Our players and fans shattered that we didn’t get the win? Where’s the criticism for Chelsea fans celebrating a draw at home?
Nahh context matters. We’ve lost only one game to a worldie free kick. Dominated City but conceded due to a momentary brain fart. Drew to a very good Sunderland due to a fluke last moment goal—and we were crushed, not celebrating a draw.
All things considered the recent draw at Chelsea was expected. Some adversity was going to happen. We’ll see how these teams celebrating draws will get on once the going gets tough.

Yeah I honestly believe this group should win it this season and it really could be the makings of us winning 2 or 3 in a 5 year period as long as hunger remains.
But yeah please just win one first and I’ll be happy.

Gotta turn off the injures. No one has a squad that can survive the rate of injures that Arsenal is accumulating.
But I do agree that it will be crushing to not win the PL this season.

When Djokovic was chasing second GS in 2010/11 there was doubt around him but I knew once he got that out of his way he will be winning big, I can se that happening with this Arsenal team…
The injuries are still a real worry, particularly approaching Xmas when the fixture list congests into January. Need to get through this period and get our injured players back.

Will be a minor miracle to get through this month and be on top of the table. 3 of 4 CBs out is quite worrying.
Saliba will probably be available today and we’ve seen that Hincapie (and Mosquerra) is good enough to play at this level.
Rice can also play centre-back, Saka was pretty good as a left back. We’re not quite out of options. Imagine this a decade years ago when we started a season with 3 recognised senior centre backs in the squad.
This set piece tag has misled people into thinking we’re good at long throws too.
We’re actually woeful at them. Might as well stop bothering with that shit.
Partey was the only player that could throw a long ball, Calafiori and Rice can try all the want, it’s always straight to a rival.

Given all the injuries we’ve had in the first few months of the season, can we hope to have a relatively injury free second half? Will the footballing Gods be fair to us?
We cannot keep picking up injuries every game. No squad can cope with it.

I want to see maximum rotation against Bruges, like Marli Salmon full debut. We badly need a break and the result is basically meaningless.
