When Pochettino says VAR “will help eradicate some of the perceived injustices against his side,” presumably that doesn’t include all the decisions that went their way because of their players, like Kane and Alli, diving.

Pochettino has learned from the masters of hypocrisy, Ferguson and Mourinho, that when a decision doesn’t go your way, focus on that decision rather than the hundred others that you did get.

He just doesn’t know Alli and Klaim will get punished a lot next season.

Well if it was seen by the match officials and they deem that kind of behaviour acceptable then retrospective action should be taken against them!

You’ve said this flippantly but you have a point!

If the ref saw him kick out and deemed it unworthy of a red, then how the fuck are they qualified to do the job?!

Outrageous, do these refs even know why they’re officiating in the first place.

The lack of accountability is disgusting.

That’s what truly triggers me

This is just another incident but the way disciplinary issues are dealt with has always been inadequate. Rugby has had citing commissioners for years and it works perfectly well along side in game officiating. There’s no logical reason not to have a similar set up with football.

One of the main reasons the quality of referees is so dog shit is because they face little to no accountability.

After that kind of performance they should be at the least temporarily dropped to the Championship or League One and made to explain how in the fuck they supposedly see that kind of conduct and do fuck all in response.

Imagine if we miss out top floor by a single point, no way should these mugs have some kind of sacred say on incidents like these. The current rule just allows refs to get away with turd performances as they say “oh I saw it” which means no further action can take place. No one actually questions the act, just whether it was seen.

This is the most infuriating thing. If a referee misses a call because he doesn’t see something, then it’s hard to take but you can at least rationalize it because there’s a clear reason as to why the decision wasn’t taken.

But when he sees it and does nothing, and then on top of that is protected by this bullshit rule, its just a complete joke. So if a referee misses one player kung fu kicking another in the head, the offender can be banned retrospectively, but if he sees it and does nothing the guy gets away with it? The incompetence from top to bottom is incredible.

Pathetic. The F.A. love Spurs just because they are full of english players.

Fully deseeved, now he will be banned for Saints and also their match at Anfield. Hopefully it makes a difference and they drop points particularly against Southampton.
