Had my car broken into and attempted robbery last night while in bed, the fuckers also parked all my wheelie bins in front of my front door so once I had opened the door to try get out they managed to flee. I canāt believe how prevalent it is now days, but it never quite hits home until it happens to you. Absolutely fuming as my front door has been basically dissected open.
Sorry to hear this sounds quite scary, have you got any security system going on? Cameras or a vicious dog for instance?
or a Ring doorbell? they seem to be solving crimes all over the shop at the moment, so if you havenāt got one, itās worth asking your neighbours.
But yeah, sorry to hear that @CliftonGeraldi That must be quite scary. The wheelie bins in front of the door suggest this isnāt their first rodeo, so hopefully theyāre known to the police or someone.
I had cameras and alarms put in couple months back
Nothing happened to make me do it but better to be active rather than react.
Its peace of mind now when we are aware, can check things are ok at the touch of a phone
Yeah I have a Ring doorbell system and it managed to clearly catch one of the guys shifting the wheelie bins in front of my door. They were all wearing tights(?!) over their heads.
My partner is shaken by it considering how brazen they were so I had the arduous task of looking brave and keeping it cool while behind the mask actually bricking it! 
Not a nice situation at all to go through!
