Really horrible news. RIP to the greatest bowler of all time.

His last tweet was a message of condolence to another ex cricketer who died aswell. Sad

RIP

Shit. RIP.

This is shocking!! WTF!

This is no age to go. I can’t believe this.

RIP Shane, you absolute legend.

You will be missed by the cricketing world.

Made spin bowling totally relevant again and raised the profile of the game.
True legends transcend rivalry and sports. Was a privilege to watch.

A true great. R.I.P legend

Lost touch with cricket a bit, but christ, such a talent, and going so young. R.I.P.

Probably the greatest spin bowler, there certainly hasn’t been anyone as good since he was playing.

Proper Legend Shane
No one can spin like he did

RIP

A legend amongst legends of the game. What a personality too, will be missed greatly. RIP

Maybe not like he did but maybe Murali has been the greatest spinner ever?

But Warney was one of the top 2 greatest spinners though and I am sad to see him die so young and to know we cannot hear him on commentary and cricket shows any longer

I find Murali’s unfortunate hand deformity was an advantage. Not discounting anything Murali achieved but that puts him in second spot for me.

Shane Warne was a clean bowler
