It could be but on the other hand the team has set itself up in a position where picking up 1 from 6 or 2 from 6 might still be enough.
I wonder about Spurs away. Are they going to give up the ball at home? Their crowd won’t like that. They may try to play a bit and their midfield is hot doodoo.
Edit: Just for clarification I don’t think for a second the team will be thinking this way or planning for a 2 from 6 on the games in hand. It’s just how I think about it. I hope and want to win all our matches but it lowers the match day nerves to know that dropped points aren’t the end of the world.

Everton’s away form has been tragic this whole season and it has continued under Lampard, getting dominated at both Newcastle and Soton recently. But they’ve been pretty good in their two home matches and were very lively against City last week. Can they get something from the Spuds?

Everton won 17 games last year under Ancelotti and they’ve only won 6 so far this season with pretty much the same squad. Just shows how important Ancelotti was to them.
Also shows how much he probably knew this team was going nowhere and took a pay cut to jump to Real Madrid.
I just hope Everton can spring a surprise tonight, really would ram home our advantage.

Everton definitely should be higher in the table just based on talent. They have just been a mess all year with injuries and terrible management.
I look at that team and I’m really tempted to think they should be able to give Spurs a run here. I wish they had a better manager than Fat Frank setting them up.
