Not even saying it’s a bad decision tbf, Lo Celso every time I’ve watched him looks the real deal. But Di María is simply a fantastic player–he’s demonstrated it in the recent run he’s had in the team–and in a team where he isn’t needed, he really should be showing his class in the million other teams that could use a player like him. For instance, Di María would’ve been a better fit than Alexis or Mahrez at City, for me, not sure why he wouldn’t push for that type of move (guess he’s very anti-England/Manchester, tbf).
Just a shame to see such a top player wasting away his career as a wild card against shit Ligue 1 sides in the league or cup.
