The more I’ve read about him the more he seems like a second tier talent, the kind Chelsea would sign for Strasbourg and then you’d never hear about again.
That these Greek talents are being talked about at 30-40m and he is 12m despite multiple clubs sniffing around says a lot IMO.

City do a lot of these type of deals. They sign wonderkids, end up silently loaning them out for a few years and then you hear that they sold X player for 20-30m and you don’t even know who the fuck they are.
This kid got a bit more attention because us and Villa were involved.

This is exactly why the transfer market is cooked. We’re so used to thinking of players who have achieved almost (and in this case, literally) nothing as having reached the top table.
