Super Mik Arteta

Thanks for the memories, lego head. It’s time to go.

He’s shown us once again today, that he’s simply not the right manager to take us forward.

Can’t get behind his approach to management, tactics and squad building whatsoever.

Full Arteta out now.

Spends 700m to give us the same banter experience as Wenger

Yep this is goodbye for me. 5 years with one trophy, signing some of the worst players we’ve ever had, boring protective football.

Arteta out

Bad performance again but man our luck with injuries has been bad.

Losing Saka, then Nwaneri and now we get Jesus back on some decent form and he goes again too.

Very Wenger like.

Sorry man, I’ve backed you and still will. But I can’t be having these double cup exits happen ALL the time.

I’m sick and tired of this.

Out of two cups in a week, but LET’s be positive. We stand a GREAT chance domestically and in the Champions League. Trust the Process.

Man this guy has really made this team hard to watch

The system is trash and can’t keep blaming attackers, they were down to ten men and we didn’t make them work nearly enough

Slow tempo, same old “patterns”, no creativity or refreshing ideas

Supposed to be a tactical mastermind, yeah of nasty defensive ball perhaps

Went balls to the wall for Havertz, Merino and Calafiori

Such an awful loss regardless of injruies

Fuck up weirdo

LET’s be positive. This is a great week - less fixture pile up. We should win the league now.

These early FA Cup exits need addressing. Nor that we had the squad to compete for this competition given our luck but it’s a very bad look how we can’t progress deep in this since 2020.

Also, ditch that white kit.

Whoever we draw in the CL, you might aswell bank on us flopping against them.

I don’t know what’s with Arteta and knockout competitions but he sucks at these.

I wonder if Wenger would be up for running it back

Biggest thing that drove me insane is how FUCKING SLOW we were… it almost seemed like we were going through the motions… even our set pieces took forever to get set up and executed… this was a game to make ManU work as many minutes as possible and there were so many long breaks it just chopped things up - played right into their hands.

We really don’t have that special player who can be a bit unpredictable, burst through a man or two (Rice did this a bit last year), and create imbalance. Martinelli just fuck off… he slows the game down so much it hurts. Ode is trying, but not much to work with and he isn’t showing his goal scoring threat this year, which we desperately need.

Was looking at someone suggesting we should go for Ollie fucking Watkins… i was like “THIS” OW? The one who maybe loses out his spot in AV? Then i looked at scoring leaders… lol… he is higher than all of ours… and our top guy is… wait for it… HAVERTZ (tied for 15th).

You don’t threaten trophies when your leading scorer looks like he is falling off a cliff and is tied for 15th in the goal charts…

Too conservative for the nature of cup competition. The one trophy he did we - he had Auba playing like a wing back.

I remember when he took Auba off when we needed a goal vs I think it was Olympiakos.

Today, against ten. Go two up top. Do something different.

Whether injuries or not, inherent issues have remained. Rigid in our play, slow tempo, one dimension of play, lack of innovation, sluggish, highly compact etc etc

And now we are losing games, also not good at set pieces anymore.

Arteta has failed to show signs of improvement, new ideas and solutions.

Board made a mistake giving him too much power as well. Tough times for Arteta but I am really disappointed how bad Arsenal have fallen.

In contrast as an fyi - Chelsea have 2 guys with more goals than our top guy… Palmer (tied for 3rd), and Jackson (alone at 9th).

Would not shock me if we don’t end up 2nd right now… very hard to get optimistic when there is just so much fucking pressure to score and you … just… can’t…

Sick of laptop freaks.

Boring.

Arteta’s Arsenal has been fun to follow in 2022/23.

That’s really it.

Huh?

Arsenal January 2024 to May 2024 is probably my favourite spell over the last 20 years

Ah yes, the season where we bottled the league?
