We absolutely need to get Eze more on the ball, in dangerous positions. This game but also in general.
He has it in him to make the difference with the ball, but it’s so frustrating you barely see him with it. The game is passing by him most of the the time. In most games he looks like a foreign body on the pitch. Aside that City half and maybe the Newcastle game (didn’t watch that) he has completely failed to click with the team.
I’d also maybe try to push him to the left. Maybe he would find opportunities on the ball easier there.
Everyone banged how he’s such a natural 10, but looks completely lost and unable to find the ball playing exactly that position most of the time.

Missed what happened to timber tbh but both he and merino down for a few mins each so you’d hope it’s 7 plus added.
yeah I’m a little concerned about him in general. Palace fans have said basically the same thing when the rumours of his departure were coming to surface. He goes missing often for large parts of a game/season. Shows up in moments, doesn’t impose himself enough imo.
Still think he will come good, but I thought he’d deliver more output and drive than Odegaard, given his form in the last 12 months or so.
