Stone Cold Might Be The 🐐

With kicks, wrestling and submissions, MMA fighters have a lot in their locker that boxers just don’t. As a general rule, I think this means MMA fighters have an edge on boxers in a hypothetical ā€œno rulesā€ fight.

Add in Lesnar’s size advantage into the mix here and my money would definitely be on him lol

Usyk would have to land quickly and effectively to have a chance, like @SRCJJ says, if Brock gets hands on him it’s done.

Btw, just to bring it back to wrestling, take a look at one of dumbest spots you’ll ever see in a ā€œmajorā€ promotion:

And here’s the aftermath:

I mean, if the last few months has taught us anything it’s that Brock needs to make sure he keeps his hands to himself.

Who cares about these bums lol

I actually can’t stand all these Indy losers. Got no idea what they’re doing and they’re just unsafe workers.

Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) and his new Wyatt team will be debuting this Saturday night at King and Queen of the ring, should be good

I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with the story but I think they’ve chosen the wrong event to debut at. Don’t know how well received they’ll be by the Saudi crowd. I think they should do it on tv at a US event.

If anyone still cares btw, still doing my old school WWF watch. In one of the best years in the business, 2000. Triple H at his absolute best

The only good thing about that year was the emergence of Angle.

You’ve gone down in my estimation, brother

(Actually, also the 6 man hell in a cell in Vengeance in Dec 2000. That was sick. Rikishi landing on that truck)

Ah hem.

I just don’t think I liked the Wrestlemania that year, and that dictates a lot about the whole year for me.

You compare WM16 to it’s predecessor WM15 and it’s successor WM17, and you can see why it’s the poorer sibling (or whatever the saying is)

It’s a bad year with some highlights in.

I actually really like King of the Ring 2000, even though it’s not the best in the ring. Angle going all the way as well as it being the last time the WWE/F did the full tournament in one night. The main event is very overbooked but quite fun too.

Nah I disagree. Austin’s return. Benoit and Eddie making household names for themselves. Angle’s emergence like you said, and my fav return ever; Taker at Judgment Day.

And tbf, Mania 15 was just as bad as Mania 16. The only thing that lets Mania 16 down is the lack of singles matches. Only 1 and its a (then) worthless womens match.

Ha fun fact about this match. It got me into wrestling. I was 5 years old and I was crying because I thought Austin weren’t coming back and boom- he shows up.

Fckin hell you’re not even 30 yet?! Ffs

Haha nope. Next year!

I think Mania more than any other show lives or dies on its main event and WM 16’s main event is absolutely terminal. The clearest evidence being how well the main event they should have had went over when they did it the next month at Backlash.

That late attitude era period has some diabolical booking in it.

I have no recollection of Mania 16 apart from clips of the Ladder match. So I’m going to this Mania pretty fresh actually with no clue about the matches apart from the odd result.

There is decent stuff on the undercard. I think I’m right in thinking that’s the show with the two fall triple threat for each of Angle’s titles. That’s good stuff, although personally I just can’t watch Benoit’s stuff now.

Yea it is, Angle was Eurocontinental Champion I think.

Each to their own about Benoit. I can separate the man Chris Benoit from the wrestler so I don’t really have any problems watching his stuff

Our experience is close to the same, replace Austin with Rock. I thought Rock was fucked once the stooges ran in.
