Stone Cold Might Be The 🐐

Have no idea what he’s doing still out there. This guys should have been picked up by AEW or WWE ages ago.

Fair play.

I know it might be a bit harsh, but Vince wasn’t wrong about all the cuts. The hiring a few years back was insane, even with the amount of hours WWE is putting out they can’t use them all.

Former New Japan guy. Anyone seen him work?

Never heard of him.

Technically, that’s Old Japan

Finally? Good.

Little bit of trivia for people. He wasn’t really a wrestling fan growing up.

The guy was made for WWE btw.

Yea I think the semi-working relationship between WWE and NJPW (mainly Karl Anderson) will tempt over to the E. Hope to god he doesn’t go AEW though.

AEW and NJPW still have the better relationship tbf as they’re actively business partners with Forbidden Door and the sharing of talent.

I actually think that’s better for WWE.
AEW has to be careful poaching talent because it could be seen as an attempt to poach their talent away just like 2019. They had ongoing beef for some time because of it.

On the other hand WWE has nothing to answer to NJPW if they went for Jay White.

I don’t even think Jay will give a fuck about maintaining a good relationship with NJPW. He’s done it all there. I think he’ll move on and will be OK never to wrestle there again.

@Josh ^^

His dream opponent is one RKO btw. That would be some match.

(Do miss Randy, hope he’s fine, these injuries are slowly catching up with him)

Yea expected. They still have the pulling power and seeing as Hunter is still in charge of creative, they’ll always be favoured

I remember saying this to @DavidHillier but there are certain guys that are just a better fit in WWE regardless.
Jade, Ricky, Wardlow, Hobbs are some others.

Someone like Ospreay on the other hand will most likely end up being independent or go to AEW and have similar deal to Mox where he can do other stuff as he pleases.

Comcast -140

Disney +350

Endeavor Group Holdings +900

Amazon +950

Netflix +1200

FOX +1200

Liberty Media +1500

Warner Bros. Discovery +1500

Dwayne Johnson – RedBird Capital +2000

Sovereign Wealth Fund Of Saudi Arabia +2000

Tony Khan – All Elite Wrestling +3000

Comcast would make sense, they already stream WWE content including the ppvs through hosting the WWE network.

Come on now, you know TK is pulling a Vince here and will buy the ultimate play toy.

I’d quite like to see it to see the AEW hipsters turn on him overnight :joy:

I found it kind of them to include him in the odds. He surely ain’t that rich.
Doubt Daddy Khan will approve that even if they were rich enough to have a chance.

Huge news

Yep, official

Aaaand Vince is back in charge.

I’m done when Triple H leaves. With wrestling in general. I can’t sit through the crap a Vince McMahon-led WWE would churn out without Triple H in charge of creative, and quite frankly, I refuse to sit and support an evil piece of shit like Vince McMahon. I have no interest in AEW whatsoever so I won’t even entertain that.

Welcome to the club.

I was telling you all this would happen. As much dirt as they had on Vince, you can bet he had as much if not more on them.

He was always coming back. Vince lives and breathes WWE, he would never leave the way he did.

Tbf to him, I think Vince still had some control even while away. I don’t doubt Triple H and co. had free reign on the majority of the card but I feel everything regarding the main event with Roman was ran by him.
Vince does have a good vision when it comes to long term main event storylines, it’s when he starts messing with silliness like Fandango and Hornswoggle where he gets out of control.
Let’s not forget he had a massive hand in Cody’s comeback and they handled that extremely well, despite doubts(incl. mine).

Anyway, they’ll probably sell the company this year. It may not be finalized but we’ll learn who the new owners will be.
