If we can’t beat this Spurs side we’ve got big problems tbh. NLD, biggest derby in the country. Our boys must be up for it.
If Liverpool turn up here, they’d batter them.
I don’t see why we can’t do the same.

Hate dropping points before an international break. So fucking long to wait and you end up stewing on the same bollocks, the rage of what went wrong endlessly replaying in your head.
Anyway, both our preferred 8 options in Merino and Rice are unavailable which means this will be an odd setup.
I think we will see a Jorginho, Partey, Ødegaard midfield. It will be very conservative but I suspect we will take a pragmatic approach by allowing Spurs the ball a bit more and utilising the counter attack.
Havertz is doing too well at #9 so don’t want to disrupt that part of the team.
Sterling has almost 2 weeks at Colney with Arteta to impress. If he trains like a beast then there could be a surprise start there as well, albeit it unlikely. His pace and decisiveness in the final third, particularly if we favour the counter, could be a real weapon. Martinelli has gone so off the boil that Sterling might quickly find himself as Trossard’s main competition.
Speed up top…needed!

Lampard is a good pundit. Not a good manager but he’s got an eye for what’s going on.
Poor cunt never stood a chance.
He should just patch management.
If I was an ex pro I would 100 percent rather be a pundit on Sky Sports like Carragher than a manager. Specially when I am good at it
Seems more intelligent and articulate than 95% of former players who you might see doing punditry work.
Remember reading he got 12 A* or A grade GCSEs (one of which was Latin). Now I’m obviously never gonna be the one to downplay the huge advantage private education brings, and it will have helped with that set of results. But regardless, that’s a mad set of results to get when your primary focus is playing football, not academia. Private education is not gonna deliver that set of results to a stupid pupil who just likes playing football lol.
What I want to see:
------Sterling - Havertz - Saka
—Jorg ---- Partey ------ Odegaard
Calofiori - Gabriel - Saliba - White/Timber
------------------Raya--------------
What I expect to see:
—Martinelli - Trossard - Saka—
Havertz ----- Partey ----- Odegaard
Timber - Gabriel - Saliba - White
----------------Raya----------------
It Jesus could stop being injured I would have liked to see Havertz CM with Jesus striker and Sterling Saka on the wing.
If I remembered, you should remember with me
You should also post a screenshot of Son and Pep laughing together at FT.
Mikel is that you?
Bet he’s printed this out 1000 copies and stuck it all over the training ground and locker room.
I also added this to make it known to Arsenal players how badly we need to beat Spurs
“No, I think the last 48 hours has revealed to me that the foundations are fairly fragile mate,” he told reporters.
“That’s just what I think. I just think the last 48 hours have revealed a fair bit to me. That’s alright. It just means I’ve got to go back to the drawing board with some things.”
The moment 20 years of pain became 21
I think Sterling has a real chance of starting.
He had a full preseason with Chelsea before he was told to train alone. He’s gonna have over a week’s worth of training with us till the Spurs game, he’s worked in a similar environment at City, and he’s worked pretty closely with Arteta before.
Sterling won’t need too much time to get up to speed, Arteta already knows what Sterling can do.
With Martinelli’s looking far from convincing, Sterling could certainly earn a start next week.
I think Calafiori will start.
Based on Arteta’s habit, Sterling will start from bench.
4-2 to us.
He’ll start up front.
I’ll be pissed if we concede 2 goals. We have fucking standards to maintain.
Fogging estandards!
We need an angry Mikel emoji
