Going to be a tough match. Our best chance will be to defend well, control the game, and pick them off on the counter. We need to be the more mature side.

Hopefully both Jesus and Merino are back for this one, this early interlull isn’t bad after all.

Would be amazing to have Merino back for this

Merino will be out until new year i reckon, cant risk playing with a fracture.

is it that serious ? Didn’t really follow what happened closely, thought it was a mild injury.

supposedly a fracture because that big lump Gabriel fell on him.

6-8 weeks I thought?

that’s what is being quoted, might see him before christmas but i don’t know if they will let him back until Jan. Hopefully we get to see him earlier. Just my feelings on the matter i could be 100% wrong.

Martinelli Sterling Saka
Havertz Odegaard
Partey
timber Gabriel Saliba White
Raya

Sterling false 9. Just play the players that want to and can run in behind. If Trossard starts this I will riot.

Match winners in Trossard and Sterling on the bench.

None too shaby team, Jorge will show up for this big match

This is what i would go for.
Sterling and Martinelli can keep switching positions throughout.
We will need their pace and someone to take advantage of Porro’s bizarre positioning and defending

L.Trossard must start!

Jesus should be back and ready for this one, he should be a big option considering Kai is most likely to start as an 8.
Jesus, Saka, Leo, Martinelli, Sterling, we shouldn’t lack options up front. Hopefully (the good old international break).

Jesus, with Kai behind worked good against Leverkusen… And Leverkusen and Tottenham do have something in common in that they both are somewhat open and attacking minded and could leave a lot of space for us again.

Definitely wouldn’t like a Partey, Jorginho midfield. That kind of negativity would only suit Tottenham, plus they are too slow as a combo nowadays.

I like the idea of bringing Sterling, Jesus and Trossard on at around the 65th minute. All three swapping positions against tired Spurs legs is very appealing.
