I imagine we’ve spoken to clubs or agents for like 20 forwards to understand interest / availability.
The ones with the most noise right now will be the ones where agents or clubs are leaking for their own interests.

I think any proper winger signing is going to cost around that sum tbh.
Rodrygo brings creativity and ingenuity to this team, both things should be priority this summer. It always the question of these type of players can perform in the somewhat rigid set up Guardiola/Arteta are using, but we should try for him imo.
£67.5m? Just push the “pay now” button please Arsenal.
If this figure is true it’s an absolute no brainer.
But less than most of us would have expected, if true.
Worth 100m EUR per Transfermarkt so must be good value
Although they value Isak at the same so…
Is there a chance we sign both Rodrygo and Nico?
Nah can’t see it
It’s unlikely but either of them, as well as Gykores, would be great window.
Berta should carry him on his back to London if that’s true lol
I hope we are serious about Rodrygo. Out of all the forwards we are getting linked to (and are somewhat available) I don’t see anyone who would guarantee to boost our attack as much as he would.
Reminds me very much of the Jesus signing. A top player who just doesn’t have enough room in a super team, but could be an absolute star in our team, just as Jesus was before the injuries.
He’s the kind of player who looks to create danger every time he gets the ball. So tidy with the ball at his feet, able to operate in a few positions and the kind of player that would unlock Saka on the right.
He can score goals, beat his man, create chances, create good links with players around him. He is a big game player too and doesn’t shrink in the moment.
No excuse if the club passes up on this signing after Kvara also making a move in the same year. Two LW that would elevate our attack to levels it needs to be at.
Agreed. Players like Rodrygo don’t come on the market often would be absolutely crazy to pass up on it. This should be the move we aggressively chase
It’s interesting to go for proven, readymade transfers in
Rodrygo and Gyökeres
From players with potential in
Williams and Sesko
Really hope we go for this. Exactly sort of move we should be making.
I was always a massive fan. You don’t need to convince me
A very versatile and complete forward, as I see him. If he had more size I’m pretty sure he would be a great 9 too.
Strong on and off the ball (tactically and technically if you like), a strong dribbler, comfortable on both flanks and in central areas, very good link up, good athleticism, a very tidy finisher (despite his numbers). The only area where Williams tops him is the athleticism and pace, while Rodrygo is surely able to provide and contribue more in every other possible way.
Having him as a first option, with Martinelli to chip in when needed, Saka and Nwaneri on the other flank (while Rodrygo can also switch to the right flank if needed too) would be a dream.
We should be all over this deal and should make this a priority if there’s a decent chance to make it happen.
I’m up for another Madrid/Barca “reject”
Rodrygo feels like exactly the sort of player we need on the opposite flank to Saka, absolutely the sort of upgrade our front line desperately needs.
Rodrygo roumor brings back memories of the Ozil signing from Real Madrid.
While the timing and roles differ, both moves show our ambition. If this deal happens, it could be another landmark moment for the club.
I don’t know him enough but if people who know him are excited its a no brainier
This is the guy who would definitely balance out Saka on the other flank, in terms of numbers and creation (dribbles, take on’s, link up etc).
A guy who undeniably has the ability do draw the opposition to himself and take the burden off of Saka, Odegaard too. He would transform out attack, just the way Jesus did in those first months.
We are crying out for this kind of skill and ability in our forward line if we want to compete on all fronts and don’t want to rely on the set pieces so heavily.
We missed out on Kvara (still hurts bad), I really hope we get him.
We probabably need this profile of a player more than a 9/goalscorer. Our creation in the final third is still so poor, on a longer term (with some exceptions here and there), and we absolutely need to boost our ability to create danger.
