Reiss Nelson

Lmao we know who that was. Won’t take the mick as he’s no longer here :grimacing:

If Saka if going to pushed a line forward, and you would think Martinelli is going to see more minutes next season, his role here is going to be non-existent anyway.

Shows you how shite the Bundesliga really is.

But I still maintain Reiss has talent and that will make itself known hopefully.

How many times has he been flagged offside already? This guy definitely doesn’t have it. Sell him for anything…

Sadly this guy is trash, I had hope for him as a youngster 2-3 years ago.

Lad is Championship level no joke. The handicap with him on the side is massive. Not even a Callejon/Vasquez type of player. Not that talented, doesn’t even do the basics right.

It’s hard to believe he was literally thought of as one of the next big things in youth football.

On the top of his CV it will read.

"My best football moment was when I pulled the world’s best defender off balance and forced a mistake "

“OH AND I SCORED A WORLDIE AGAINST THE BEST KEEPER”

He took his chance brilliant :joy::joy::joy:

What the fuck? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Interesting read

It’s been like 4 years and we’re still waiting for him to start taking on players

I still stand by what I said. If Arteta wants something to run at opposition and cause errors he should buy a scooter.
Cash in while you can. :raised_hands:

His first foray towards goal early on needed to be a shot on target at least. Glad he finally got a goal, he really needs to progress now.

Nelson put Van Dijk under pressure and forced a mistake for our first and then pressed Allison into an error for our second

I believe he’s earned a spot in the first 11 versus Man City.

Van Dijk complaining of a shirt pull that never happened !?

Relying on Nelson against a motivated City?

Pepe has been poor since the leagues resumption. Against Man City we aren’t going to see much of the ball (like tonight’s game) and so we’ll need the ball to stick when it goes forward.

I’d also back Nelson to supply Lacazette and Auba with more goal scoring chances than Pepe atm.

He’s the perfect Arteta player right now. Lots of energy, and pace, and his pressure helped us win this match. He was the only outlet we had today, caught offside a lot but he was a willing runner. I have never really rated him but happy with his performance today. He had a golden opportunity early in the match and he decided to drag it back into the box to nobody imparticular, which is typical of him. If he could fix that side of his game and be a better decision maker maybe we could Everton him and get some money when we sell?

Imagine being 6ft 4 and trying to convince people that Reiss Nelson pulled you back.

Plus, Reiss Nelson was saving all of his energy so he could kick the ball hard once later on in the game.
