Ratcliffe has just issued the following statement:
"I am sorry that my choice of language has offended some people in the UK and Europe and caused concern but it is important to raise the issue of controlled and well-managed immigration that supports economic growth.
"My comments were made while answering questions about UK policy at the European Industry Summit in Antwerp, where I was discussing the importance of economic growth, jobs, skills and manufacturing in the UK.
“My intention was to stress that governments must manage migration alongside investment in skills, industry and jobs so that long-term prosperity is shared by everyone. It is critical that we maintain an open debate on the challenges facing the UK.”
I’m not by any means an economic authority, but in the course of studying and teaching about many events with underlying economic causes I would be comfortable hazarding a guess that that’s not the only interpretation of the data that’s out there.
And the obvious follow up question to me would be why the data tells us that? Since we can rule out that it’s because white people are better in any way, there are going to be factors behind that data like inequality of opportunity, the greater likelihood of deprivation, the impact of discrimination and so forth.

It should be on the front pages of all our newspapers that this cunt meant what he said about migrants and implied about the disabled, elderly and the less fortunate sponging-off taxpayers when he’s domiciled in Monaco so he doesn’t pay UK tax anyway.
Unfortunately most of our “patriotic” tabloid newspapers are either domiciled in tax havens (The Mail in Bermuda for example) or owned by serial tax avoiders. So it never gets mentioned and the rich and powerful get away with it, again.

It’s a cliche “I’m not racist but”
BUT when I was in A and E last month seriously ill and it was full of south Asian grannies and grandads who have never paid a penny of tax or national insurance whereas I have paid hundreds of thousands, and never had a penny off the state something doesn’t add up.

How do you know they’ve not paid council tax, business rates, income tax or VAT?

give it a rest. I’m not actually that old my 30th birthday is in a few weeks when I was a child and ill my mum could ring up the doctor and arrange an appointment at her convenience on the same day. Now you have to ring up 8 o clock on the dot and wait in line to even have a chance of getting a random phone call and if you miss it tough.
I’ve grafted my bollocks out since I left school in the trades paid hundreds of thousands in income tax, national insurance and the outright theft that is inheritance tax and I have to wait in line 12 hours behind people that haven’t worked a day in their lives or contributed a penny.
