Is Firmino the best Brazilian to have played in the prem?
Depends on exactly how the question is meant. If the main criteria for judgement is their body of work in England, how long they played here, whether they spent their peak here, I’d say yes.
If you just mean who is the best Brazilian to have played in the PL overall, based on their general quality, status in world football and career in other leagues too, I’d say Thiago Silva.
Yeah was more meaning in his time here. I mean Jesus is more successful but was he as big a player for city as Firmino for Liverpool.
In some way you could see he has a bigger role here now than he had at City.
I feel he would surpass him if he landed one of the big two trophies here.
Another ex-Spurs player wins silverware.

so how big can the Saudi league get?
do we want a separate thread yet?
I think they could get players. Let’s remember we have had a lot of Brazilians playing in the Ukraine etc.
Possibly get players with a few more years on the clock too.
Maybe the likes of Salah who will be 31 by the end of next season.
Question is who will be the first big name player in their 20’s to head there.
Thing is you could actually go and make your fortune by 25 and then comeback to Europe.
@Mr_Nostalgia Mbappe maybe
And hardly anyone will give a shit.
Missed out on playing in the same team as Maldini by one year. Was wondering why he didn’t have him in there.

Di Maria?
Very surprised he’s put Thiago Silva there ahead of Cannavaro tbh
