I think it would open a can of worms, reffing the game after the event. I’d imagine there would have to be an appeal protocol similar to that of wrongful dismissal cases. However you’d just get teams appealing like mad after every game to get other teams players banned.

There have been some reports that whatever happens in these 3 games(Spurs and Porto taken into account) included he was still safe but I’m not that convinced.
I think a loss against Villa will put him under huge pressure and the management above him will have to sit on it for 2 weeks.
Your only wins this season being against Barnsley, Southampton and a smash and grab against Fulham at OT is just embarrassing for the level of their investment, his influence on that investment and the time he’s been there.
