Well let’s say watching him tonight we would have been giving him grief if that was an Arsenal performance, but as you said he hasn’t played much lately so he gets a pass.
It would please me greatly to see him flop at Barca if only to prove that we haven’t lost much by booting him out.
In reality, I think he’ll manage something around 1 in 2 by the end of the season. Worked hard and played with intensity tonight, you can tell he wants to be a success there rather than just collecting pay cheques.
