I can only assume that no worthwhile club came in for Auba so he’s happy to settle here on a big salary and reasonably long deal for someone of his age.
The positive for us is he’s still one of the best strikers in world, hopefully it stays that way for another couple of seasons at least.

Plus it was not like he tried to get himself to Real when he was at Dortmund. Feel like basically every summer he said that it was his dream club. They just never went for him.
Apparantly Kluivert also tried to sign him in 2017 but got fired… The new PSG director didn’t want him.
