Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Big Pierre’s winning goal is all the more enjoyable and awe-inspiring the more you watch it

Doesn’t score in big games against big clubs apparently

Well yeah, he only scored against Chelsea

That goal had an Henryesque swagger about it. The way he looked away the moment he made that chip was very reminiscent of many Henry goals, where he knew he was going to score before he actually scored.

Remember watching these on a regular basis back when I was scouting Auba in 2013. Damn he has come a long way after this.

Can’t he just sign a phoney bumper contract lol?

If he only wants to stay another year, Arsenal should say ask Big Pierre to sign and then they sell for a commanding fee this time next year while he’s still in contract.

Ahh, who am I kidding?! It’s an outlandish move and I’m still buzzing.

In reality we can probably offer Auba more than anyone else. He wouldn’t be a key player who could demand A) A transfer fee + B) 350k a week

It was almost as good as this

Some people questioned Ozil a long time before he signed that deal. I don’t think you’ll find anyone questioning this guy, other than some theoretical stuff about future muscular decline.

Give him whatever it takes. We can have 2 players on silly money for 1 year surely.

Techinically 3 trophies at Dortmund, but 2 of those were the Supercup (Community Shield), if you want to count those.

The thing is he doesn’t look a player in decline. A 3 year contract would see him reamain until he’s 34. Running down the final year of a contract for a 34 year old isn’t bad. He is quite an intelligent player, which he isn’t given enough credit for, so I think he might be able to adjust when he slows down. Also, unlike other top speedy players, he hasn’t played a lot of international football, so less milage on those legs. People keep writing Vardy off to start the season and he just won the Golden Boot at 33 years old. I’d bet on Auba for at least 3 more seasons.

It feels like some people are still living in the 80’s, when hitting 30 was the deathknell of your career. The man has a good 4-5 years of his peak left, provided he takes care of himself.

I think he has slowed down abit but has elite movement off the ball. Even if he can only maintain this level for another couple of seasons, that’d still be worth having him on high wages for 3 seasons.

We better not help those cunts with a ‘cheap’ alternative.

So much has been said about this guy and it’s all deserved, has been an utter BADMAN since he signed for us.

Nothing like having an undisputed world class striker in the team and he not only has the quality but the personality and swagger to go with it, plus he has taken the captaincy in his stride.

His age shouldn’t concern anyone in terms of a new contract since he’s one of those alien/android players with unparallered levels of fitness and availability, nice to see the confidence from Arteta that he will stay. When he signs then we’re really on track.

That second goal was pure magic, the footwork couldn’t be bettered by even Michael Jackson lol

What’s incredible… he seems like he’s still IMPROVING. You could hardly imagine him doing a dribble like that few years ago. Getting better technically all the time. He’s just a guy who seems to absorb everything so well all the time and keeps growing unlike a lot of players who are like stone/wood, they really peak in their early 20s, all they do later is getting some experience slowly and forcibly they’re adding some minor attributes.
We should do everything to keep this guy for as long as we can.

Glad the text is covering your brother and not his mate

I have always hated Adrian Lewis. I don’t know why, he just has an irritating face. Being from Stoke doesn’t help his case either. Glad he is shit nowadays.
