Just saw the miss and it was a shocker, don’t wanna blame him though as without his goals we’d be in the bottom 3.
More concerning that we couldn’t outplay the Greeks at home from what I’m hearing.
If/when he does go it’s been great to have a world class striker play for us again even if only for a little while.
He’s done nothing but carry us since signing, I can’t begrudge him leaving to play in the CL as that’s exactly where he should be plying his trade.
If only we’d signed a striker of his caliber much earlier.

We’re in trouble if he leaves, the quality of the squad has already dropped so much.
He’ll go and we’ll have Lacazette as our main man, no one will offer decent money for Lacazette so I can see him remaining for the remainder of his contract.

We’ve seen this movie before, where the never ending project of this last 10+ years has the latest star jump off the carousel, rinse and repeat.

Really sorry this player is going because he must feel he’s given everything to help us.
May be looking for a top player who won’t come we need to look at players who will come. Forwards from lesser clubs might give us the boost we need.
Let’s be honest we can’t do much worst as a team.

Yep. Sadly it’s probably best to get something from his transfer now and invest that into a team for the future… if he wants to go. If he wants stay I’d keep him of course.
Can’t really blame him for wanting to leave. Arteta is a unknown manager, he might end up a top one or he probably just end up making us worse. No one will know only in time. The rebuilding job with our board could take 3 to 4 years at best to make us even a regular top 4 side no matter a PL title chasing one. He’s getting older, and he probably wants to win things. He’s been a great signing just a shame we couldn’t give him a team worthy of his talents, same with Alexis.
He will go down as one of the bright spots of a drab era for the club.

His goal showed why he has to play as CF, Laca would break his fat ass trying something like that.
I’ll only forgive you Auba, if you sign a new contract with the us becoming the highest earner. We’ll add a release clause in the region of £60m-70m to sweeten the deal.

No other player in the arsenal team would have scored the goal he did, so as a team we didn’t lose out from his impact in net terms. He shouldn’t have had to score another one anyway, I blame Leno for trying to riskily play out from the back with <2 minutes to play which gave them the corner which they ended up scoring from. If he’d have just booted that ball we would have won the game.

Maybe this maybe that the truth is we can’t play consistently over 90+ mins in a game. We can blame our defence really for this blunder but they have performed in last few games. Also we allow teams to constantly attack our defence because we are Incapable of sustaining a constant attack. Any defence under the pressure our is would be the same so let’s stop blaming them all the time.
Every ball kicked up to that tosser Pepe is a dead ball so we can’t rely on any sustained attack on our right, what a mess!
We have a tosser in Laca who still doesn’t know where the goal is!!
Get rid of those two and we just might start winning games instead of playing with only one player up front in Auba.
