Generally doesnât matter who plays in that defence now, as theyâre all so accomplished, but credit to him that I barely had to notice him.

Yeah very solid albeit against sub par opposition.
Whatâs positive, he looked really assured as a CB even though he hasnât been playing there too much for Leverkusen in the last season, mostly as a LB as far as I know. And even when he played as a CB before it was in a 3 atb.
Both him and Mosquera seem like guys with massive potential. Our defensive scouting is insane.
Btw only now realised the Merino involvement there. Top quality hold up play. The guy is really a serious option as a 9. Those displays at the end of the last season werenât just a purple patch.
