Nicolas Pépé

where is the goal?

The Gunners were so concerned about the optics of the departure that when they finally agreed to a termination, they first ruled out a Saudi Arabia move.

I would have liked to terminate (the contract) earlier in the summer but didn’t want to,” Pepe said.

“The speech was: ‘We bought you for €80 million, vis-à-vis the media, we can’t.’

“They were asking for large sums, so it fell through every time. They ended up accepting it after the European market closed. Only the Gulf countries and Turkey remained.

“But Arsenal only agreed to terminate on the condition that I undertake not to join Saudi Arabia. A question of image. And there was this offer from Trabzonspor

Outrageous if it’s real.

I really couldn’t care less now. Such old news like hearing a story about an ex…we’ve all moved on Pepe, get over it.

He’s with Teanna Trump. Not sure if this is an L or a champion move.

Saka, Martinelli and Pepe for 80m was good business. I’ve moved on.

Might be reading this wrong I don’t think @SRCJJ shared this for Pepe specifically, but moreso about the fact that we as Arsenal allegedly didn’t want to sell to Saudi because it would look bad.

I don’t think we’d have any problems accepting Saudi money, i read it as saying we didn’t want him going there for free when they are throwing tens of millions about on others.

That’s not sensational though.
