Nicolas Pépé

Prime Wenger wouldn’t touch Pepe on lack of football intelligence alone.

Pepe certainly has shown a big lack of football brain in his time with us. I feel he’s been more disciplined in recent months and is certainly doing more to justify more regular starts if he keeps it up.

Personally I think Arteta may have improved him compared with Emery.

I agree Wenger wouldn’t have signed him especially at that price.

But are we sure it’s that rather than him constantly battling between his natural instinct and Arteta’s instructions?

Clearly the red card was his own doing but I’m talking about his general play

He was even worse under Emery who is an ok to above average coach (even though the players spat him out) and I don’t think Freddie rated him either.

So yes my conclusion is it’s not on Arteta.

This combination was balling when we tried it initially but Arteta decided to blame Pepe for the bad refereeing at Wolves and Villa.

Can we stop talking about the fact that he isn’t worth 75m and start talking about the fact that he’s still a really good player who should 100% be in this side?

Thread is empty AF when he’s doing his best Casper impression.

Sorry but that is absolute bollocks. He’s been called out plenty.

My agenda doesn’t care.

Your agenda’s have taken lumps all season. OGS, Maddison and Pepe

Pepe how? Same goes for OGS, Maddison? The latter I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Don’t forget Pogba. When he plays, he’s the best player on the pitch for United.

Oh yes he’s played a shit ton and been…Shit.

RC purring over him these days. The guy is immense.

His numbers are good. Game by game he is improving in terms of confidence and workrate.

Pepe has only started 12 PL games this season. That’s crazy low.
