New Sporting Director

How has Williams been doing this season? His stats don’t look that great. Martinelli has 4 goals and two assists while Williams has 2 goals and 4 assists in the league and UCL.

He had a very poor start but he seems to be slowly finding his feet again recently.

Seems like a very good appointment

Looks like an ageing Louis Theroux

we could offer Jesus as part of the deal

Why do you want us to pay more?

Olabe leaving Real at the end of the season… January is normally a pretty random window anyway, but no director in place could be significant to the season’s outcome…? Likely to be a quiet window?

I don’t expect any business from us in January.

It’s a dead window

Let’s hope we don’t NEED to sign anyone because of injuries.

This was mentioned a few weeks ago, I wish I could remember who (Charles Watts possibly) who said the club has a team that was headed-up by Edu and they did a lot of the work on transfers anyway, so there not being a DoF/Sporting Director in place in January won’t make any difference as to whether we sign anyone or not.

I hope this is true otherwise this a major failure of internal management. We need reinforcements in January.

Of course its true.

My sources didn’t confirm which member of the team will be tasked with grilling-up a nice steak lunch on the barbeque though.

Olabe seems to make a lot of sense…plus could increase our chances of Zubimendi and Isak. Feels like a good fit for Arteta too…

Dan Ashworth?

Should we be worried

Edu is leaving and Dan Ashworth has left Utd and looking for another job…easy to try and put 2 and 2 together here. Personally, I like the links to Roberto Olabe.

Is it? Ashworth’s stock has taken a massive hit imo.
Great work at Brighton but what has he done since?

The guy was essentially kicked out of Man Utd. And even that aside, from the outset it doesn’t look like his work at Newcastle was particularly great and the way he left that place doesn’t exactly paint him in the best light either.
