You just can’t judge players on this mess at Chelsea. It’s mental.
Good thing we spent 65m on someone who was playing like shit at Chelsea. 
Increasingly, I just ignore you ever since I noticed that you do nothing but complain absolutely about anyone and everything at Arsenal in good times and bad.
But on this occasion, as I just said, I don’t think any player can be judged on the mess at Chelsea. I’m sure you disagree, but it’s weird you seemed to take what I said as some kind of comment that supports your opinion of Havertz.

I would generally agree on this but unlike previous seasons where everyone was shit, there are some players now that are actually doing well like Gallagher, Palmer and to a lesser extent some others.
I will say on Caicedo and Enzo though that they’re not your typical Poch players so that certainly plays a factor.
They’ve got a better manager than they’ve had in some time now which goes a long to way to why they’re not as bad this season but they’re still massively underperforming what they ought to be capable of.
I had the misfortune to be at the 3-0 loss to Brighton last season and it was very clear Caicedo was a very talented player. His quality is not in question for me.

Also, if you’d bothered to read any of my posts about Havertz I’ve said he’s played more or less fine but I’m not sure if you’re able to get a wifi signal on your high horse.

Caicedo was always gonna be a bust at that price, don’t think it’s just down to chelsea being shit as a whole.
Enzo still finds a way to stand out, albeit against a low bar.

Well, they made him a £100 million player, and that’s on them rather than Caicedo. He’s far from the only player not to thrive in that environment. I think when he moves on we’ll see the player that was at Brighton again.

I don’t think there was a bidding war at all, and Chelsea just paid whatever Brighton was asking without negotiations.
What a horrible bastard. Went in to hurt Merino on that challenge, and then rolled around on the floor pretending to be injured.

He was trying too hard yesterday, like he had a point to prove. And what was with the hard man act that he and Enzo and some of the others were putting on. Wish White was playing. Would have found a way to smack them both without getting booked 
Anyway, I think the return fixture will be spicy, especially if us and them stay at the top of the table. Look forward to big Gabi breaking a few Chelsea bones.
