Salah was available for cut price while he was at Basel. I remember his game against Chelsea in CL/EL where he romped them.
Wenger really should have spotted his talent and signed him on.
For me, it was when Salah was at Roma. I thought heād have been a great replacement for Walcott. I saw him as a Pedro-style forward which he still is to be honest. Heās just surpassed that comparison by a factor of 1000.

I also knew he was going to be this great.
It was in his time when cutting his teeth at Al Mokawloon that I noticed him tbh - all 11 appearances.
I used to go to a friendās house and they had one of those giant satellite dishes that was a feature for a lot of Iranian families back in the day and we would watch Mohammed Salah in awe. Afterwards, we would head to the local five-a-side pitches to practice our dinked chips and vertical shooting patterns. Capping off the day by grabbing a 6 Chicken Nugget meal from McDonaldās.

I was chatting to my dad the other day, who is the person who got me into football. We were discussing the season and how disappointing it has been (for us) as well as some of the outstanding performers etc.
Anyway, he started talking about the day I was born. He mentioned that when I came out of the womb, I was obviously screaming my head off but what was crazy was that in the middle of having a crying, screaming fit and having only just been born, I accurately predicted Mo Salahās career goals and assists totals as of 23/02/2025.

I saw Salah live when he was at Basel vs Ludogorets here in Sofia in 2013. You could tell he was special even then.

Salah is having one of the greatest seasons in the history of the league. This is Henry 02-03, CR7 07/08 and Suarez 13-14 level performance.
People donāt want to give him the credit he deserves but if Salah did this 10, 15 or 20 years ago it would be spoken about in the highest of terms.
