I agree, Hazard and De Bruyne were both world class but they were also at clubs that had top quality players in every position as well as on the bench.
But Gerrard was a world class player with very few similar quality players alongside so he carried that team to success in the CL in a way that Hazard or De Bruyne didn’t need to.
