Mikel Arteta

Just think

Yesterday Auba,Laca,Pepe and Ozil all played together.

People said its not possible, it unbalances the team and look how it worked.

Good Job Arteta.

I feel a little more awareness is needed attacking wise. We dont find players in the final 3rd. If we can have that then we would be 3 up yesterday in first half yesterday.

My biggest issue on his appointment was wanting a manager with a big strong personality.
Last night he went some way to proving that he may have that. He certainly seems to have good communication with players and that makes things look very promising. Give it till the end of the month to see how good this really looks.
Nice feeling today though and just having fitness levels addressed is key after suffering neglect on this over the years.

If Arteta can just get Laca to find his scoring boots…

Only concern for me is if we can keep this pace up until the end of the season !?

Tbf I like how open Mikel is about the whole situation at the club and his vision since arriving. We’ve lacked that clarity for a long time and players and fans can jump on board with this open approach to instill a positive and winning attitude within our club again.

I think the board will have no problem backing Mikel in the transfer market. He’s already starting to show that his coaching is effective. It’s early days but Mikel has the potential to be a huge success.

Imagine if this team would had spent the summer training sessions under Mikel Arteta and not listening a clown as Unai Emery. I’m finally watching some fucking good football. Arsenal play an organized football, fluid, dynamic, offensive. A lot of players look revived.

Without being overly negative I think a little more time should be considered.
Let’s just make sure this isn’t a bounce effect. It’s a win a draw and loss so far.

It’s kind of hard to believe how far he goes in copying Guardiola .

Straight to the point and not trying to fool people around by mentioning “mental strength” and “top 4” shit.

Or is it the other way round?

It’s like he was with Guardiola for 3 and half years

Copy paste of Guardiola except for two important things:

  1. HE IS A BASQUE GOD not a Catalan God…I DON’T THINK YOU LOT HAVE TRULY GRASPED THE IMPORTANT IMPLICATIONS OF THIS FACT

  2. ARSENAL DNA BABY, HE’S OURS, FORMER ARSENAL LEGEND

Games will get harder in the second half of the season and we will have to raise it again but with the right buys in January and the encouragement we should do it.

@Phoebica @GunnerGirl btw why has there never been much talk of what a sex symbol Arteta is? I always thought he was just one of those guys that maybe was only attractive to us men but yesterday while explaining to my girlfriend from Colombia who knows fuck all about European football a bit about why I was so happy, underlining as one of the important benefits of finally having the Basque God in charge his sempiternally immaculate appearance, she said “yeah, está guapo, eh”, which made me realise he is in fact sexy to females. So basically, I’m a bit aggrieved at your lack of admiration directed towards his appearance instead choosing to direct admiration toward demigods who are shite at football like Giroud.
