Take Handball or HÅNDBOLD. The best team wins 9/10 times cuz its either attack or defend. And both teams are forced to go tru the same number of phazes which means the more skilled team win more often.

I didn’t realise Arteta still had a hold over any supporters, I thought it was just the media and the board. 
I mean, I guess he’s kind of right. You win by scoring more points and if you take more shots you increase the amount of chances you have of scoring. Obviously it’s not always going to work that way. You have players hit cold streaks where they just can’t score, opponents who play really physically defense, injuries that require using bench players who aren’t as good. But the games aren’t comparable imo. First off, you have to have a winner in basketball, no draws. Also the amount of ground footballers cover is insane. There’s a lot of sprinting in basketball and explosive movements but the court is much smaller. You also have rolling substitutions. I could go on but basically Arteta’s full of shit. He’s dissembling and looking for excuses.

I’d like to see what the sounds are after our games against Brighton and West Brom. If we don’t get maximum points and the stance is still the same on Arteta, then prepare for relegation.

On the one hand all managers have total trust from the club until they’re fired. Ornstein has been kind of a stooge for club lines since moving so I’m not shocked this is what the club is briefing.
On the other hand, it’s a big worry that they’re so worried about more change that it paralyzes the club.

You score one goal in football, is one point.
Basketball you have 2 pointers and 3 pointers and free throw. In football you won’t score a breakaway goal, then having another PK to take 2 points/goals.
One have 3 subs limitation, one has unlimited substitution.
In basketball if you have a bad streak, you can sit down for a quarter or two and come back. Football you either take him out or stick with him like Willian.
Apples and oranges, how can you compare them?

The biggest problem now is the board. It’s clear they have no contingency plan and when we do move it’ll be a panic appointment.
We can definitely forget about approaching an Allegri now with this bunch of clowns.
The club is going to look fucking ridiculous by the end of this saga.
Best we will get after this fiasco will be a Southgate after the euros.

I agree unfortunately. This isn’t too different than the late Wenger years, when it was obvious to everybody that a change was needed but there just wasn’t anybody above him with the combination of power and balls to make that change.
People will hate this but honestly the best thing we can hope for right now is that Arteta figures some things out and gets his project back on track. Nobody else is walking through the door anything soon and there is no reason to be confident in the people making the next appointment if and when it comes to that.

He has completely lost the plot. Cause this is so contradictory with what he said about if you cross, a lot, you will score eventually. Since that is how it works statistically. This can’t be solved anymore.
